Hasta ver

Nikki wrote her last email in Spanish, this is translated by my brother Josh Tagg:

Well, truthfully I don’t have words right now. We will see each other soon. Mosiah 4:9 Believe in God; believe that he is, and that he created all things, both in heaven and in earth; believe that he has all wisdom, and all power, both in heaven and in earth; believe that man doth not comprehend all the things which the Lord can comprehend.

I don’t understand everything yet, but the Lord knows all, and for some reason or another, he sent me here to the Guadalajara mission. I will be eternally grateful for the opportunity I had to be here sharing that which has given me joy in my life. Sharing my testimony has also helped me to be a better person.

The Mexican people are very humble, patient and full of charity. Things that have been hard for me to learn for myself. Even though it was me who came to bless the people here, I have been greatly blessed and that I will never again be able to repay the Father for letting me be a a mechanism in His hands to bless others, and for having given me the tools to do His will.

Get ready for me to kiss all of you! Peter 5:14 Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.

And I write my last words… I have written little and will let you stop reading now, hoping that many of my brothers and sisters have read my words. Good bye friends.

November 8th at 1pm I will give my talk in the Tuscany Ward (beside the Temple for those who want to come)

Guadalajara.

2 minute letter again

Jesus got baptized this week! YAY! It was super awesome!

I got sick too, and slept a good 14 hours on Monday night, then again

Tuesday night another 12 hours...

I play the piano each week in church so I sit in the front row at

church separate from my companion, one by one 3 girls that we are

teaching came to sit by me and the little one who is almost 8

whispered into my ear and said that we were lucky... ¨porque nos

encontraron¨my heart melted, I know the Lord guided us to them.

Evidence that the Saviour is at the head of this work, and lives!

My heart is completely heart broken as i felt the time pass by and

when the little ones cling on to me telling me not to go. I don’t even

have words to express the sadness I feel about only have 2 weeks left

to enjoy the best time of my life!

Sorry to be completely short, but we are in Tepic writing because we

go to Guadalajara in the morning.,. Until next week :p

Miracles Part 2

Mormon 9
18 And who shall say that Jesus Christ did not do many mighty
miracles? And there were many mighty miracles wrought by the hands of
the apostles.

19 And if there were miracles wrought then, why has God ceased to be
a God of miracles and yet be an unchangeable Being? And behold, I say
unto you he changeth not; if so he would cease to be God; and he
ceaseth not to be God, and is a God of miracles.

20 And the reason why he ceaseth to do miracles among the children of
men is because that they dwindle in unbelief, and depart from the
right way, and know not the God in whom they should trust.

This week has been another incredible week of miracles! We were 1
lesson away from reaching 50 lessons this week!! And we were blessed
with another miracle... 12 investigators attended church yesterday.

God does not cease to work miracles among those of his children who do
not loose faith in him, clearly those who we are working with right
now have been able to develop faith, and the faith produces a fruit
which is repentance, in preparation to receive baptism, and the gift
of the Holy Ghost, to guide them to endure to the end. Sounds like our
missionary purpose!

Although we had success in many areas, we had difficulties in finding
new investigators this week. Up until Friday we had only found 1, but
by the end of the week we had found 9! I’m grateful we decided to have
our divisions with our sisters in Villa Hidalgo. They too were
suffering from not finding in investigators, but I feel like the
divisions gave them and us another boost of energy and another way of
working to reach our goals. :)

Running and running always :)

MILAGROS!!!

Well well, what can I say? This week we decided to up our goals, and

to be honest, it was a harder weeks to reach or goals, no obstante, we

were able to reach the ones we boosted up, and by the faith we showed

the Lord blessed us in a way we hadn’t imagined... Sunday...

We had 9 investigators come to church and 13 less actives!! I have

never had so many investigators at church at one time, usually its

like 4 here in Santiago, and less in Vallarta. The people here are so

much more humble. :)

I know that all we do is guided by the Lord, because this is His work,

to bring people to the knowledge that his authority is here on the

Earth again to give us the hope we need, and to be able to exercise

our faith.

This Saturday we were going to eat with a sister when she called us 5

minutes before arriving to tell us that her neighbours(4 different

ladies who are our investigators) had remembered when we made the

appointment had mentioned that we were going to eat with the sister

and in return invited us all to come eat with them.. hope that made

sense! Best surprise yet! Especially because the food was fantastic :)

On Wednesday our investigator told us that she knew that the Book of

Mormon only spoke the truth! She didn’t even know that she was baring

testimony to us! She is the mom in the picture with the family where

I’m dressed up as a Mexican. So great! Made my day.

Honestly a golden week!

Tata for now :)

Well well well. We recieved our transfers today, but Hna Zepeda and I
are still together for my last 6 weeks! I was praying that I wouldn’t
have another companion. Hna Zepeda is incredible, she always teaching
according to the needs of others and is great at listening to others,
and the Spirit. I have definitely learned lots from her, teaching
wise, as long a personal things that I have needed to tweek :)

So this was another incredible week! We are honestly just killing it!
Okay the Lord has his work cut out for us, and we just follow the
spirit! But honestly, it has been a great past 6 weeks!

Well good things are coming to pass. This week one of our
investigators had mentioned that she wanted to start up her own
sandwich stand so that she is her own boss and doesn’t have to work on
Sundays! Her and 2 of her children are preparing to be baptized next
month. Also we are just finding lots of families, or couples to teach
which is super awesome and makes it so their future kids can grow up
being taught Christ like attribute and good values, living in a home
where the love of Christ can be felt because they have been able to
receive the promise of the constant companionship of the holy ghost.

August was a great month for us, and October from how it looks now,
will be pretty fruitful as well. I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!

Also yesterday we witness (by satellite) the rededication of the
Mexico city temple, which was super cool and awesome. Elder Holland
spoke!! And Elder Eyring directed the reunion.

Well that is about all for now! Here are some pictures from the last
couple of weeks, and from today where we went to los corchos to eat
with our favourite family and our convert Guadalupe <3
