5 months and a day... :s‏

Well to be honest, this week went by pretty slowly, and fast at the same time!
The best part was that we went to Tepic on Friday for a leadership
training. We were asked to help with the training and share a part for
20 mins. I totally freaked out.

Zone classes are nothing compared to teaching in front of your mission
president, but not I feel better for when I will be teaching in our
Zone Conference on the 12 of June (different then a zone class, since
the assistants come, and Pres. and Sis. Wagner all come, and teach
too... and there is food :) )

By the end of our teaching I felt good. I honestly felt like we did a
great job on how we taught, and being confident even thought I think
my eyes got blurry to start with :p

Well to be honest, not too much to report this week, except we had a
ward activity on Saturday, the 2st one since December. We are trying
really hard to have the ward come up with an activity calendar so we
can invite our investigators to come, and the less active members.
(Everyone wants to have fun)

Well, I’ll write better next week <3

The kettle is heating up.. :)‏

OSH! I hope you understand my title. It makes in my head,

I feel like the weeks are going by so fast. I think it’s my companion.

Even though she has only 11 weeks left, she keeps reminding me that I

have little time left too, and that in 2 months I will be getting a

call to organize my flight back home. How evil eh?

On the bright side of thing, lots of things are just falling into

place how the Lord wants. We have been able to find some really

receptive families in the last few weeks, and are doing well. Of

course the biggest problem is church attendance... and will always be.

But lots of prayers and fasting for it all to come through.

Unfortunately our faith goes second to the agency of others, and even

if I have so much faith that people will chose right, they still have

their agency.

We are teaching a new 60 year old man named Roberto. He is a mechanic

and super awesome! He gets really emotional when we come to visit him.

He seems to really recognize the Spirit, and is always super happy to

have us come by. :) YAY. He is super humble and well came to church

yesterday. After having taught his this week before and pushing his

baptism back another week, he was devastated and realized he had to

come to church or we wouldn’t allow him to be baptized. (He only missed

2 weeks... but it’s a lot when you are planning a big event as such)

Our zone class this week went really well. There were lots of changes

in our zone this last transfer with each companionship, I think 10 out

of 16 or something crazy had changes!! We had the opportunity again to

teach our zone. It was great because we were able to tell that people

were really listening attentively to us and responding really well to

what we asked and taught. :)

This Friday we are traveling to Tepic for our leaders conference, and

Hna Rodriguez and I get to teach again :) Only that the President this

time is going to be listening, and his wife (nervous?! Little bit) Not

excited for the traveling because of what happened 2 weeks ago

travelling to Guadaljara, but we are leaving early enough in the

morning that I think I will be able to catch some Z´s on the way

there. :)

Well Tania is doing super well, however due to some goal with the

Bishop her husband made, she will now be getting baptized on the 13th

of June, making at least 2 out of 4 days in June set with baptismal

services. (That is if Roberto come to church every week otherwise we

will have to push it again) PRAYERS!

Well we are finding lots of families who really understand well, but

of course the Sabbath day seems to be the biggest trial of faith for

the people here. MORE PRAYERS!!

Well thank you for all your love and support and prayers and emails,

and everything else!

Families can be ETERNAL thanks to MOMMIES!

Last week for the 5th of May, well we didn’t even get to see anything
cool happen in Mexico because we had our leaders conference in
Guadalajara… (was better anyways)

It was honestly one of my highlights on the mission. Just super
spiritual, uplifting and motivating. They talked lots about the BOM...
All will have to seem the mission blog to see what the mission
presidents wife (Hna Wagner wrote about it)
http://guadalajaramexicomission.blogspot.mx/

And don’t even think I forgot about Mother´s day..
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO MY MOMMY AND MY SISTERS AND MY GRANDMA WILMA!
(and to all other moms ;) the ones who make the world go round)

´´Eve was given the identity of “the mother of all living”—years,
decades, perhaps centuries before she ever bore a child. It would
appear that her motherhood preceded her maternity. … I believe mother
is one of those very carefully chosen words, one of those rich
words—with meaning after meaning after meaning. … I believe with all
my heart that it is first and foremost a statement about our nature,
not a headcount of our children.

Some women give birth and raise children but never “mother” them.
Others, whom I love with all my heart, “mother” all their lives but
have never given birth. And all of us are Eve’s daughters, whether we
are married or single, maternal or barren. … And we can provide
something of that divine pattern, that maternal prototype, for each
other and for those who come after us. Whatever our circumstance, we
can reach out, touch, hold, lift, and nurture.´´

Well these last couple of week we have found some FAMILIES to teach.
And we are praying super hard for them all. I love families, it makes
the teaching setting so much more different and interesting.

Also still praying lots for our goal to baptize every week in June!! <3

Revelation comes by the good listener‏

Well this week was super eventful, but Ill keep it short

We received revelation to have divisions with another companionship on
Tuesday instead of Friday (will explain pronto). Our divisions went
really well. I had the opportunity to comfort a sister who was super
stressed out. She is doing super super great, and I enjoyed being with
her because she knew how to work and everything. She got stressed out
in the night as I showed her how to plan according to what it saying
in Preach my Gospel, then the next morning she started crying from the
stress. Not going to lie, I don’t really like it when people cry....
but it was great I was able to help her, and just felt like the Lord
really helped me to comfort her with my own experiences that I have had
learning too.

Okay the revelation… well Friday we got a call from our Bishop
warning us we should go home for safety… then our zone leaders said
we wouldn’t be leaving the house until further direction... we stayed
home all day!!!  If we had had divisions this day, it wouldn’t have
worked out anyways, so there is our revelation. :) The good thing is
that I got sick the night before, so I slept for 3 hours, and was
woken up because our district leaders called us.

Not to be alarmed though, we are totally fine, they just burned a few
banks down, and gas stations, and buses, but not for our area anyways.

Tania is doing really well. We are just wondering if we should wait
another week for her baptism. She didn’t come to church yesterday for a
family event and we want her to really understand the importance of
the covenant she will be making, and how she is responsible for her
own salvation.

We had an activity yesterday in the church with a few invited members,
to help them learn how to recognize the promptings of the spirit, how
to give away a BOM, and how to follow up with church leaders when you
invite someone to church. It was great because we did practices and
were able to call the attention of the members. We hope to do it
again, but bigger. :) With all!

Well I love you all lots.

Listening invites the Sprit, and allows it to prompt our thought.
Listen, listen, listen :)
