Prayers for Progress

This week was just so great! We had divisions twice with the sisters
here, one more to go this week before the next transfer. The sisters
here in Santiago and Tepic as super chill though. Vallarta there was
always a ton of problems. I’m grateful to be here in Santiago... knock
on wood that I don’t get transferred next week since I just got here!

Well well, we were going to have a baptism on Saturday, but for one
reason or another we had to postpone it for this upcoming weekend
where we have another baptism planned.. Ahora si oraciones por
bautismos cada semana en Agosto! Knock on wood again.

Pues, yesterday we had 6 investigators at church, regularly here we
have like 2, so it was a good day! We also had 8 less actives present!
ALSO there were 90 people in sacrament meeting! Before it was like 50,
but since I got here it have been around 75, so yesterday was a great
day! Santiago has a lot of potential to become a ward like my first
area in Sayula! Lots of progress and lots of miracles passing by right
now! I love it!

So like I said last week about the marriage and all and temples.. we
taught in our zone class this week. I loved it! I LOVE THE TEMPLE!
Probably my favourite time teaching as a sister training leader,
because its my favourite topic!

Hna Zepeda and I are working super hard to help a few people get
prepared to receive their endowments, and others to go and to
baptisms! SUPER EXCITED! I hope we can go with them! I LOVE THIS! AND
NEVER WANT IT TO END....

But I got the call today, the secretaries asked me what airport I
would be arriving at in 3 months.....
:( BUT I love my family and families can be eternal so its ok :)

CON MUCHO AMOR!!

Temples

Well well well.... This week was just fabulous. We travelled to Guadalajara for our leadership training with Pres. Clayton and Hna Clayton.   We started off by going to the temple, which was super great, we all went with at least one question, and were able to receive answers. We´ll just put it at that.

Our training was different than other training sessions we have had. (new president and all) it was lots more laid back, but still spiritually edifying. I love the temple!

I was asked to speak yesterday in church, where I could choose what to talk on. I talked about the temple, and the importance of going, and make preparations to go. We have active members who have never been, or only once, ahora, we want everyone to go to the temple for the next trip in September.. so we are looking up membership numbers... and guess what, we can't find some!!!!
So they might have to be baptized again!! orale!   I spoke in church yesterday, and well I talked about the temple, and the importance of going through the temple to be an eternal family. Then 15 minutes before Relief Society started I was asked to teach the class... chapter 13 I believe, but it talks about temples and family history and all, so that was cool, kind of went with the theme of my talk... looks like I was inspired. There were lots of questions, and comments, and it looks like the majority looked motivated to make it to the temple. :) Its been a while since I taught relief society, it was a great time :)

One of our recently activated members is planning on going on mission. And Hna Castillo, my mission mom, wrote me and told me that Ignacio (my first convert) should have his mission papers sent for next week too!!! AHHH MIRACLESSS!!!   I love the mission!!!   Hna Tagg So I’m terrible at taking pictures, but my comp has some that we took on her camera from the last few weeks. Enjoy :)

The Standard of Truth has been erected

Well what a wonderful week. I just love being here. I don’t know how the
time just flies... Being in Santiago, a new area, I feel like the
people are killing me, telling me that I have little time left of the
mission :(

Yes I played the piano this week, and it went lots better :)

I  am super happy because there are people ready to receive the gospel.
Like the Prophet Joseph Smith said:

´´The Standard of Truth has been erected; no unhallowed hand can stop
the work from progressing; persecutions may rage, mobs may combine,
armies may assemble, calumny may defame, but the truth of God will go
forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every
continent, visited every cline, swept every country, and sounded n
ever ear, till the purpose of God shall be accomplished, and the Great
Jehovah shall say the work is done.´´

I know that the Lord lives and the His work will not end until all have
received the invitation to come unto Him. For that reason I am here
serving the Lord, talking to everyone we see, always leaving a
commitment in every home, by that way peaching repentance, for there
is only one who can redeems us from our sins, on the condition of
repentance.

Thank you all for the many emails and birthday wishes. My letter is
short today, but pray that my love is felt. I love you all!

And a picture of my Hondoranian companion, Hna Zepeda and I on my
birthday…We celebrated by having lots of success :)
