:) I love Mexico!‏

Hello my wondering family!

Well we didn’t reach our goal of having baptisms every week this month,
Candelaria had to go out of town for the weekend, but will be baptized
this weekend :) It was so cute yesterday when she came to church a
little bit late but then mentioned that she was happy because she made
it in time the for sacrament :)

We are seeing lots of miracles in our area, and the ward members are so
sweet and always want to feed us, so along with my spiritual growth I
am growing in other ways too if you catch my hint...

The temple trip has been changed to Oct 17th, like a week before I
get back home, so we will see what happens with that if we can go or
not :s

Guess what one more month until general conference! I’m super excited.
I loved reading the Liahona and receiving inspiration and council. My
companion is super great and helping me recognize the things I need
to change, of course in a tactful way. I always ask her to give me an example
of what I have done wrong. The good thing is I’m pretty good at
correcting my bad habits, like applying what I learn. At least that’s
what she tells me every week.

Ops there it is. Times up... again... thank you everyone for the emails
recently. I love reading them all :) And seeing pictures!

Just dropping a line

Well well well.

This was just an incredible week! Honestly, some how the Lord just put

everything into its place and we just let the spirit guide us, up to

changing who we are going to visit, and we find a new investigator at

the home of a less active member, then he comes to church out of

nothing!

Sorry but I’m already out of time, because I was preparing all the

pictures I wanted to send home! Enjoy! And more for next week with our

baptism with Candelaria this Saturday :) Prayers for her!

Let the Holy Spirit Guide‏

This week was super great! We travelled to Guadalajara once again for

our leadership training. I like our new President and his wife,

because they give us something to eat as a breakfast before hand, and

because lots of us travel in the early morning, we come with empty

tummies.

We learned about the importance of the Holy Ghost and the role it has

in the conversion of EVERYONE! It is so crucial that we learn how to

recognize the Holy Ghost now, and how it speaks to each of us

personally. Without this knowledge many testimonies diminish and

people become less active, they stop doing what the Holy Spirit is

trying to tell us we need to do. The Lord has a plan for each of his

children, but will not force any of us to live according, it is the

responsibility of each of his children to reach forth in prayer for

help in knowing what to do, and God will give us the comforter to

guide us in our days.

I know that the Lord works through the Holy Spirit, and as we harken

unto the positive impressions that come to us we will be guided to

righteousness.

This week Hna Zepeda and I had to opportunity to be part of another

baptism, little Alam (I thought his name was Allen up until his

baptism... my companion too!) He is such a little trooper! And we had a

little celebration for him afterwards :)

Prayers that we may continue to reach our goal of baptisms each week

this month!

We are seeing so many miracles these days. I love this work! And never

want it to end! Missionary for life! Sound so cliche, but I don’t care,

its the best feeling I’ve ever experienced :)

The church is true! I know the Lord is hastening His work! Our Father

in Heaven knows us by name and the Heavens have been opened unto us

once again!

Have a fantastic week!

Today marks 13 years since I got baptized :)‏

I just feel so good!!!!!!

I love this feeling! I don’t want this feeling to ever leave?? Honestly
the Lord is making things happen! Our goals are being completed! We
had our second weekend of this month just pass by, which means Maria
Guadalupe Romero (81) was baptized. Same story with Imelda, we were
preparing her to enter into the temple to receive her endowment, when
we found out that she didn’t have a membership number, and was not
found in church offices, so here is happened again! So weird.

We´ve been working so well with the members, getting their visiting
teaching done and everything, along with our work too but splitting it up
with the members. Member and Missionaries, working hand in hand :) I
LOVE IT!

Well today we are went to San Blas so that we could have a bigger
fridge, it was like an hour drive there and then returning, and then
we looked around too to take advantage of the time... there wasn’t much
to be honest. Just in the plaza there is some cool jewellery that the
people make by hand which I liked :)

Tonight we are off to Tepic for our leadership training tomorrow.
Sorry to be short today, but today there are pictures, and there will
be more next week for little Allans baptisms this Saturday!

LOVE YOU ALL FOREVER!

Hola!!!

Esta semana, de verdad, fue maravillosa!!!! Me estrese pocito por

algunos detalles de nuestro bautismo, pero en el final, o esta, todo

bien :)

We have divisions with our last pair of sisters this week, it was

good, but lots of room for improvement in their area aha. We fixed a

bunch of things that needed immediate attention. :s But I didn’t mind

because I love seeing progress, and there it was waiting for it :)

We did it! We had a baptism, the oldest person that I have seen

baptized... 67! Such a good sport! Also there was a good turn out for

the baptism too! Great support here in Santiago :)

I love being a missionary! And I love being a missionary in Santiago.

In 6 weeks, our District (little stake) is going to the temple, and we

are working with 4 people to receive their endowments!!! Also other

people who haven’t gone in a long time plan on going this time around.

We want to fill a bus with only the Santiago branch!! Usually they

don’t even fill a bus with the district, but hey, you can go hard or you

can go home. And so we are talking to everyone about the temple and

getting people committed to going, and teaching the importance of

going to the temple :)

My companion likes to speak English, so we were talking this week and I said

Me: you bought cat food didn’t you, that is why there are cats outside

our house!!!

Hna Zepeda: I am not!!!!

HHAHAAHaaa I died. I love my companion. She has learned so much since

I have arrived, and has improved a bunch, just a matter of practice. I

want her to speak perfectly so bad!

I will send pictures next week. I can’t seem to load anything on this computer.
