Well
well. This week went really well. We were able to teach lots of
people. As things were a little bit slower these past couple of weeks
before, we took out our ward directory and looked for all the less
active memeber in our area. We still have a few more people to look
for, but that will cause for a few special trips since they live a
little further away. This opened the door to a few part member
families, who knows what the Lord has in store for these familes, but
we are going to work hard in bring these members back to the church
again, along with there families.
Our ward is getting more involved with the whole missionary work. They
are also looking for ways to help, like inviting less actives to
family home evening activities in their own homes.. We are also
planning on having family home evenings as a ward 2x a month so that
we can have members, and investigators together, and a better way to
befriend each other. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we should
have things going, the ward is a little slow with these things, but we
have excited missionaries in bringing this work forth :)
Hna Rodriguez is getting the hang of things a little better, and isn't
quite as emotional, not that she was all that emotional to begin with
(at least if you compare her to me)--que vergueza. It's all good. We
get along really well, she loves mexican food too! And she even says
that I cook well! Palomitas is where its at! (I make real food too,
not to worry).
Time is short today since we went to the mall. And didnt even buy
anything! But know that I love you all, and hope that you are all
finding ways to fill the agendas of the missionaries in your wards with
your nonmember friends :)
